These arms have not been officially granted.
The maple leaves represent Canada as well as the abundance of maple trees in the area.
The wavy area of the shield symbolic of the St-Maurice River and the abundance of small lakes in the area. It is a very popular cottage area.
The fish, rabbit and bird are representative of the area wildlife.
The cross would go back to its roots as a Catholic parish.
The motto Ensemble vers l'Avenir = Together towards the Future
