Origin/meaning

The arms are officially granted on January 20, 2004.

The bell tower in the arms shows the local parish church, and is a symbol of the religiosity of its people. The hammer, chisel and nails are symbols for the construction and building crafts, which are a tradition in the parish. The whear ears symbolise the agricultural character of the village.
