Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 12, 1930.
The pine tree is the symbol of the Bregenzer Wald region in which the municipality is situated. To distinguish the arms of nearby municipalities, to cow-bells were added. These refer to the importance of dairy cattle for the municipality at the time.
