Arms of Szczucin

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on January 1, 2009.

These are the arms of the Chwalibóg family, eighteenth-century lords of Szczucin. Stanislaw Chwalibóg received confirmation from the king to grant city rights to Szczucin in approximately 1780 and adopted the family arms as arms of the new city.
