Escudo de prata, com duas andorinhas de sua cor acompanhadas por dois pinheiros bravos de verde frutados de sua cor, troncados e arrancados de negro. Em chefe uma abelha de negro realçada de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com os dizeres: " VILA NOVA DE POIARES ", de negro.
Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on April 11, 1938.
