Official blazon

On a light blue and white rectangular shaped embroidered device convexed at top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, charged with a black stylized Falcon in flight facing right, eyed and beaked white detailed light blue. Attached above, a white scroll inscribed “WEST ROWAN” in light blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. Attached below, a white scroll inscribed “FALCONS” in light blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. Its overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Origin/meaning

The school colors are North Carolina blue and white. The Falcon is the school mascot. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 12 January 2007.
