Official blazon

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a vertical light blue rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, a white horse’s head couped and reguardant detailed black. Attached above the rectangle a light blue scroll edged with a narrow red border inscribed “ZACHARY” in red letters. Attached below a light blue scroll edged with a narrow red border inscribed “BRONCOS” in red letters.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per chevron throughout Or and Celeste, overall a bronco forcene of the first. Attached to the sides and below a red scroll doubled Gold inscribed to dexter “ZACHARY” and to sinister “BRONCOS” in gold letters.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Blue and scarlet are the school colors. The bronco is the school mascot. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 10 June 1996.

Shoulder Loop Insignia: Blue and scarlet are the school colors. The bronco is the school mascot. The shoulder loop insignia was approved 5 April 1996.
