History: 452 Communications Squadron (constituted as 452 Communications Squadron, Bombardment, Light on 10 May 1949; activated in the Reserve on 27 Jun 1949; redesignated as 452 Communications Squadron on 2 Mar 1950; ordered to Active Duty on 10 Aug 1950; relieved from Active Duty, and inactivated, on 10 May 1952; activated in the Reserve on 13 Jun 1952; inactivated on 14 Apr 1959) and the 452 Operations Squadron (constituted on 5 Dec 1958; activated in the Reserve on 14 Apr 1959; discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 Jan 1963) consolidated (1 Feb 1987) with 452 Information Systems Squadron (constituted as 452 Communications Flight on 15 Jul 1976; activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1976; redesignated as 452 Information Systems Squadron on 10 Apr 1985). Consolidated unit retained designation as 452 Communications Squadron. Redesignated as:452 Communications Flight on 1 Aug 1992; 452 Communications Squadron on 1 Apr 1997.
