Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 2025.

The first quarter shows a rose for St. Mary, the patron saint of the local church. The oak tree indicates that 57% of the municipal surface is covered by forest. The third quarter is base don the arms of the De Faucogney family, medieval lords of the village. The fourth quarter refers to the former Bithaine Abbey in the municipality.
