This book was published in 1938 and was written by Dr. W. Spohr with 230 coloured images of arms by M. Seeler. The book shows the arms and some description of the towns listed. The main text deals with the history and present (in 1938) of some areas that previously belonged to Germany. The arms were issued as stamps, which could be glued in the appropriate places and pages.
The book is part I, but part II was never issued. Although the book looks like a collector's album, with loose stamps, it is not known where or how these stamps were to be collected.
The book is written in German, with Gothic letters and may be hard to read for people unfamiliar with this alphabet. The book is quite rare and only a few copies exist in German libraries.
