Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 20, 2010.

Ayano-Maisky district is one of the most remote, northern districts of the Khabarovsk Territory. The lands of the region border on the southeast the Sea of Okhotsk (in the coat of arms it is symbolically reflected in azure). Among the vegetation of the region, the Ayan blue spruce, pine, and braya leguminous (the only place of growth in Russia) stand out. The entire flora of the area is reflected on the coat of arms in green. The border, composed of small rhombuses - "deer trail" - an allegory of Evenk national patterns, symbolically reflects the national characteristics of the region.

The deer head symbolizes the main occupation of local residents - reindeer herding. The reindeer for the Evenks is the main assistant in the nomadic life, it is meat, and clothes, and shoes and medicine.

The marten represents the rich fauna of the Khabarovsk Territory and the fur trade, which has been carried out since ancient times in the vast expanses of the taiga.

The crab is a symbol of marine fauna, successful fishing and seafood production.
