Spanish Partido y entado en punta. Primero: En campo de gules (rojo), puerta principal del Parque de Monteleón, de plata perfilada de sable, con las inscripciones: 1808 sobre el dintel, DAOIZ y VELARDE en las basas diestra y siniestra respectivamente, todas de sable. Segundo: En campo de oro cuatro palos de gules, resaltada torre de plata, almenada y aclarada de sable (negro), característica de Paterna. Entado de sinople (verde), casco de escudero de plata, claveteado de oro y forrado de gules.

Origin/meaning

The First Quarter symbolises the Heroic Action of Captains D. Luis Daoíz y D. Pedro Velarde for which the Unit has its Name. The Second Quarter symbolises the location of the Unit. The Point with the Helmet symbolises the Support given by the Unit. The Coat of Arms was approved 15 February 2011.
