Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on October 2, 2020.
The wolf is a canting element, Blois comes from Blez, which is Celtic for wolf. The water mill wheel refers to the formerly important water mills in the village.
The grapes refer to the viticulture and wine making in the area. The milk bottle symbolises the importance of animal husbandry and also refers to the former cheese making in the village.
The sword refers to the statue of Jeanne-d'Arc in the centre of the village. The wavy division line and the blue symbolises the Seille river.
The blue and gold refer to the Franche-Comté region in which the municipality is situated.
