In front of a book gules and Or, spine upwards the cover charged with a cross argent a brown lion passant guardant tongued an armed gules.
Motto: Doctrinam accingimus alis
Origin/meaning
The Lion and Book are taken from the arms of the University of Cambridge. The Motto translates as "We equip learning with wings". The Badge was granted in November 1963.
