CANADIAN FORCES REAL PROPERTY OPERATIONS GROUP, CANADA

Coat of arms (crest) of the Canadian Forces Real Property Operations Group, Canada

Official blazon

Badge: Or fretty Gules, on a rocky mount a Martello tower Argent, all within a bordure Azure and enclosed by the Miscellaneous Badge Frame (A wreath of maple leaves, overall in base a scroll Or inscribed with the Motto in letters Sable, in chief the Royal Crown proper).

Origin/meaning

The tower symbolizes strength and efficiency in architecture, engineering, planning, construction and technology, the Group’s main areas of activity. The latticework not only represents the infrastructure and networks built and maintained by the Group but also the highly specialized and diversified teams behind that work. The blue and red colours are emblematic of the Canadian Military Engineers, whose work is fundamental within the Group and in support of the mission of the Canadian Armed Forces. Motto this Latin phrase means “Enabling operational success.” Original concept of Samy Khalid, Saguenay Herald, assisted by the heralds of the Canadian Heraldic Authority.

The badge was approved on February 15, 2018.
