Finnish Punaisessa kentässä hopenen kyyhkynen siivet koholla, istumassa kultaisella kaarikorkoisella tyviöllä, pidellen nokassaan kultaista yhdeksänlehtistä öljypuun oksaa.
Swedish I falt av rott en duva med utbredda vingar av silver och med en olivkvist av guld i nåbben, sittande på en bågformad stam av guld.

Origin/meaning

The figure is taken from the seal of the Vyborg/Viipuri diocese from the 17th century. The colors are taken from the provincial coat of arms of Karelia (where Vyborg is situated), but are also those of Tavastland.
