Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, pe câmp de argint, se află la dreapta și la stânga câte un chiparos în culoare naturală, iar central, pe azur, un potir ornamentat în partea inferioară cu trei brâie, cel din mijloc având șapte cercuri, iar cel superior asuprit de un șir de șapte trefle; piciorul are deasupra un nod cu benzi verticale filigranate - una văzută din față, două din semiprofil - cu butoni circulari intercalați, mărginit sus și jos de câte o floare cu patru petale; piciorul cu talpa hexalobată are la bază, pe fiecare latură, câte un medalion ovigal cu terminație în cruce, totul de argint. În partea inferioară, pe câmp verde, se află două capete de cal cu gât, de argint, cu frâu, zăbală și ham albastre, plasate în pal și văzute din profil, afrontate, asuprind o fântână heraldică de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 7, 2020.

The chalice represents the heritage values of the commune and the precious church chalices, including two neo-Gothic ornaments, dating from the 17th century and sold in the interwar period to build the first two schools in Fântânele.

The cypresses represent the neighboring arboretum reserve in the area (Chamaecvparis lawsonniana), a symbol of continuity.

Horses and fountain refer to the name of the locality Fântânele, which comes from the fountain for watering horses, once located behind the old mansion in the village.

The total number of elements in the coat of arms, six, represents the number of component villages.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
