Per chevron azure and barry wavy of six argent and sable a chevron grady ensigned with a Latin cross or, in chief two salmon leaping respecting each other of the second. Motto: Seasaigí go buan.
Origin/meaning
The arms show the town's bridge over the River Blackwater, hence the embattled chevron over black and white waves. The Blackwater is world famous for its salmon fishing and this depicted by two leaping salmon. The motto means Let Us Stand For Ever.
