On a field of birch bark proper, a pile barry wavy of ten argent and azure and overall an equilateral triangle, apex to the chief gules, charged with a porcupine or / Sur un champ d'écorce de bouleau au naturel, dúne oile fascée ondée de dix d'argent et brochant sur le tout un trinagle équilatéral, en pointe au chef de guelus, chargé d'un porc-épic d'or.
Motto: Loyal á la mort

Origin/meaning

Symbolises the Miramichi Bady and the Micmac Indians. The hunted porcupines for food. They also used birch bark to cover their Wigwams and to make their Canoes. The Motto traslates as "Loyal unto death".
