English | White; a boar's head red armed silver. Motto: Fatis fortior virtus |
Origin/meaning
From the arms of Admrial Viscount Keith (1746-1823) who landed General Abercromby's Army of 16 000 in Egypt 1801. The Motto translates as "Valour is stronger than fate". The badge was approved in 1929.
