Official blazon
German In Gold drei rote Balken, überdeckt mit einem großen schwarzen „L” in gotischer Schrift.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 19, 1963.

The bars are taken from the arms of the Wolf von Lüdinghausen family, who lived for 250 years until 1649 on the Füchten estate in the municipality. They use a silver field with red bars and over all a blue lion. The colours are taken from the arms of the Von Fürstenberg family, who also owned a large part of the area. Their arms were two red bars in gold.

The letter L is the initial of the village.
