Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on September 23, 2023.

The arms show Saint Saintin (Saint Sanctinus of Meaux), the first bishop of Verdun which he evangelized in the 4^th century, the patron saint of the local church. The nail of the Passion underlines that the village was a land dependent on the bishopric of Verdun.

The dove carrying an olive branch is the symbol of peace. The chief recalls the village's link with Lorraine.

The ears of wheat that may be used surrounding the shield. refer to the agricultural character of the village.
