Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 16, 2012.
The bells represent the toponym "Mosteiro" (which can be translated as "monastery"), as well as the two villages of the parish.
The cow represents the economic activities of the parish, with a special emphasis in farming.
The barrulets represent the Atlantic, as well as the related economic activities (fishing, sailing and tourism).
