Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on December 27, 2013.
The sun with fiery rays allegorically shows the main areas of activity of the city - energy and coal mining. The sun is a symbol of life, energy, warmth and the brightest, best wishes of the inhabitants of the city.
The red field symbolizes the beauty, grandeur, strength of the city of Nazarovo, and also indicates that the city is part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The blue base symbolizes the Chulym River, on the banks of which the city is located.
The previous arms were adopted on March 19, 1986.
The arms show the local brown coal mine and symbols of industry and mining, as well as the Chulym river.
