A sword, the point downwards argent and an anchor in saltire divided per pale argent and sable. Motto: By night by day
Origin/meaning
The Sword symbolises Attack and the Anchor the Shipping attacked. Being in in black and silver symbolises Night and Day operations. The Badge was approved in March 1945.
