History: Formed at Abu Sueir in June 1918.

In front of a templar's cross gules a sword in bend point downwards argent hilted and pomelled Or.
Motto: Diu noctuque pugnamus

Origin/meaning

The Sword is indicative of the fighting Role. The Cross is used as a similar one is in the Badge of No 14 Squadron with which this Unit operated in Palestine in World War I. The Motto translates as ”We fight by day and night”. The Badge was approved in March 1942.
