În partiția I, în câmp roșu, se află un coif de soldat roman, de argint, conturat cu negru. În partiția II, în câmp verde, se află o gură neagră de intrare într-o mină de sare, peste care broșează două ciocane de minerit, mărginită cu o bordură de piatră argintie. În partiția III, în câmp albastru, se află două valuri de argint undate. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate.

The arms were officially granted on June 7, 2007.

The Roman helmet refers to the Roman settlement in the area. The mine entrance refers to the salt mine, which has been of great importance in the local history. The lower half refers to the Mures river.
