Dutch	In azuur een Christusmonogram bestaande uit de Griekse letters X en R, zwevend boven een drietoppig heuveltje in de schildvoet, alles van goud. Het schild is gedekt met een met edelstenen bezette mijter van zilver en goud, waarvan ter weerszijden twee gouden, van keel gevoerde linten met gouden franje afhangen, de uiteinden beladen met een breedarmig kruisje van keel.

Origin/meaning

The Chi-Rho symbolises Jesus Christ. The triple mount symbolises the earth and the resurrection. The gold and blue are the colours of the Netherlands symbolising the countrywide jurisdiction of the diocese.

The style of the mitre reflects the fact that the church was the Dutch branch of the English Old Catholic Church, the mitre thus more resembles the Anglican tradtion.
