Arms (crest) of Kimstad parish
Official blazon
Swedish I fält av guld en blå lilja under ett rött klöverbladskors.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on January 25, 1996.

The cross is taken from the arms of Hans Brask, Bishop of Linköping and indicates the Estate of Norsholm (formerly Munkeboda) in his time was a bishop's castle. The fleur-de-lys is from the arms of the noble family Lillie, which together with the families of von Fersen and Piper counting from 1478 in about 500 years held the Castle of Lövstad. Which this went the right to nominate the vicar of the parish.
