Stema Pojejena

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 5, 2005.

The blue wavy bar means that the town is located in an area on the banks of the Danube River.

The three fish (pikeperch) represent the fish wealth of the area and one of the main occupations of the inhabitants.

The silver wall reminds of the historical vestiges that attest to the existence of the settlement since the Roman Empire.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
