Origin/meaning
The bell evokes the old bell foundry in the village. The band with the alérions are taken from the arms of the Lorraine region. The chief and the cross are taken from the arms of the commandery of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem of the 12th century, to which the village historically belonged.
