History: Raised in 1794 and disbanded in April 1828. Reraised 12 february 1831. On 1 May 1961 it was amalgamated with the Westminster Dragoons to form the Berkshire and Westminister Dragoons. In 1967 the two Regiments was again split and the Berkshire part become the A Company (Berkshire Yeomanry), The Royal Berkshire Territorials.
