It also symbolises Devils Lake indicationg the location of the Unit. The Bisons represents the Plains Indians of the Region. The Key symbolises distribution and storage.


The Coat of Arms was approved for the 136th Quartermaster Battalion on 10 December 1996. It was redesignated effective 1 September 2008, for the 136th Support Battalion with symbolism revised. The Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved for the 136th Quartermaster Battalion on 14 January 1992. It was redesignated effective 1 September 2008, for the 136th Support Battalion with symbolism updated.
