The blue wavy bars symbolize water, which represents baptism, sports and recreation. Calvo is an avid hiker and water-sports enthusiast. Found nowhere else in the world, the latte stone has become a symbol, and the signature of Guam and the Marianas Islands. Bishop Calvo was born on Guam.
