The silver step-gable is the main charge in the arms and is based on the shape of the local church tower. On the silver field a small chapel is shown, which symbolises the Mariahilf chapel, a place of pilgimage for the region. The building dates from 1762, but before that there was already a famous chapel. The blue wavy bar represents the Enz river, on which the village is situated.
