The bordure includes five billets, each colour represents the Branches that make up the Battalion: Celest for Military intelligence, Gules for Engineers, Azure for Chemical Corps, Vert for Military Police and Tenné for Signal Corps. The arrangement of the Billets further alludes to the actions of the Spartan Troops to recover the body of Leonidas who had fallen in the Battle of Thermopylae. The Motto translates as "Influence everywhere".
The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was both approved on 31 October 2005.
