Two thistles superimposed on a heraldic fountain.
Motto: Edoce = instruct thoroughly.

Origin/meaning

Thistles associate the Base with the Province of Otago, settled by Scots, and in particular with the Scottish Community of Dunedin. The Fountain symbolises the River Taieri. The badge was approved in May 1954.
