THE CONNAUGHT RANGERS, BRITISH ARMY
History: Formed in 1881 by amalgamation av 88th Regiment of Foot (Connaught Rangers) and the 94th Regiment of Foot. Disbanded in 1922, following creation of the Irish Free State.
Regimental Headquarters: Renmore Barracks, Galway.
