The combination of the fork and rake appears as a village sign already in the 18th century. In the early 20th century the symbol appears in the seal of the village, but not in a shield. It is likely that the municipality never used the arms, as there are no images available. The arms are, however, used as such in what is now a part of Stuttgart. The colours are thus also the colours of Stuttgart.

Origin/meaning

The combination of the fork and rake appears as a village sign already in the 18th century. In the early 20th century the symbol appears in the seal of the village, but not in a shield. It is likely that the municipality never used the arms, as there are no images available. The arms are, however, used as such in what is now a part of Stuttgart. The colours are thus also the colours of Stuttgart.
