Origin/meaning
The arms show (elements) of the arms of former lords of the village; the bars are from the Hans-Grandpré family (oldest lords), the balls are from the Epinoy family and the lion head is taken from the arms of the last lords of the village, the Les Salse family.
The dvision line refers to the -mont (mountain) part of the name.
