Official blazon
English Red; a tower white in chief a lozenge vair and a cross botony gold.

Origin/meaning

A Castle in Essex built c. 1230 by Hubert de Burgh earl of Kent (the Lozenge). Franbted to Lorch Rich of Leigh by the Crown in 1551, he is symbolised by the Cross. The badge was approved in 1954.
