History:Formed at Thruxton in August 1942.

A hand proper holding a dagger in bend sinister thrusting to the dexter.
Motto:Silent we strike.
Origin/meaning
The Badge is symbolic of the Airborne Operations of the Unit, which callled for Speed, Accuracy and Silence in attacking the Enemy. It was approved in June 1945.
