Origin/meaning
The cross is adapted from the arms of the port city of Bremerhaven, Germany, where the Activity os located and is symbolis of medical aid and assistance. The blue wavy bars alludes to the Weser Rivers and the Ship's wheel symbolises the Harbour.
The Design was approved on November 10, 1975.
