LA NEUVEVILLE

Canton : Bern

Wappen von La Neuveville

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted to the city by Emperor Maximilian I in 1497. The two crossed keys, the symbol of St. Peter, however, are used by the city since at least 1338.

The arms of the district of La Neuveville District are based on the arms of the city , with the exception that the colour of the mountain is made green.
