COURTELARY (district)
Canton : Bern
Incorporated into : 2010 Berner Jura
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Courtelary, and are used as district arms since the 19th century. The arms show green leaves, instead of the original red leaves, to distinguish the arms of the district from the arms of the city of Courtelary.
