UNTERLUNKHOFEN
Canton : Aargau
Official blazon
Fünfmal geteilt von Weiss und Blau, überdeckt von rotem Pfahl.
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1929 and are derived from the medieval arms of the Lords of Lunkhofen. The arms were already proposed in 1914.
The municipality also uses a different symbolism for the arms: the three bars represent the Schwarzbächli, Arnibach and Wydenbächli rivers and the pale the main road through the village.
Seal from Hugo von Lunkhofen, 1255. |
