Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on February 9, 1921.

The arms show a ram with three stars. The arms are based on the arms of the Netstaller family, who were among the most influential families of the (large) region in the 15^th century. The family arms showed the ram with one star, the three stars represent the three villages in the municipality.
