Above and below the upper and lower lobes of the quatrefoil a silver scroll inscribed "WARRIOR SPIRIT" above and "WARRIOR SUPPORT" below in black letters. |
Origin/meaning
Buff is the Colour of Support Units. The Wyvern alludes to participation in "Operation Dragon" the Landing in Southern France in August 1944. This mainly took place in the Departement of Var, which Capital is Draguignan whose Arms includes a Wyvern.
