Origin/meaning
The village association uses the arms above, which were never officially granted.
The arms show a red-tongued black wolf. This refers to the story of the local parish saint, St. Remaclus. Saint Remaclus defeated a wolf and forced it to carry grey stones for a monastery building in Stavelot. The golden crosier indicates the episcopal dignity of St. Remaclus.
