The arms were granted in May 2019.

The two lightning bolts and the wavy base refer to the name Donnersbach (thunder-brook). The fleur-de-lys is the symbol lfor St. Mary, patron saint of a chapel in Donnersbachwald. The cross refers to the fact that this is the mother parish of the Ennstal region.
